About Me

A few years ago, work was becoming increasingly stressful and demanding. My life felt like a bullet train moving at a pace I could no longer sustain – I could sense my nervous system was stretched thin and another burnout was lurking just around the corner.

I needed something to slow down my constantly racing mind and give me space to breathe. While I’m a big fan of conventional therapies, I felt I needed an extra boost – something that would help me benefit from those therapies more effectively.

So I researched and discovered Reiki. I was drawn to it as the perfect bridge between science and spirituality. I booked my first session and felt nothing during it, but a few days later something had gently shifted. I started getting glimpses of feeling “in control” and that sense of peace I’d been desperately needing.

Reiki became my regular thing alongside conventional therapy, giving me space to catch my breath and calm my nervous system. I became less reactive, my head felt more spacious, and I could plan ahead without panicking when things didn’t go as expected.

Why I trained as Reiki practitioner

Seeing others fighting similar battles, I wanted them to experience those same glimpses of calm and openness. So I signed up for Reiki training and completed all three levels of traditional Usui Reiki with Michael Kaufmann. I’m now a member of the UK Reiki Federation, fully insured, and hold an enhanced DBS check.

I regularly attend courses as part of my continuing professional development – the more I research Reiki, the more fascinated I become. I continue to develop my practice under Michael Kaufmann’s supervision, alongside regular training through the NHS to expand my holistic approach.

I also have the enormous pleasure and privilege of offering Reiki in a clinical setting with the NHS, where I volunteer with cancer and palliative care patients. It’s some of the most meaningful work I do, and a reminder of just how much a short session of calm can mean during a genuinely difficult time

About My Practice

What I can promise is to hold a safe space where you can pause, catch your breath, and maybe even forget what’s been bothering you for a while.

I can offer you empathy, compassion, and respect. After all, I know inside out what it feels like to be always ‘on’, chasing your own tail, feeling overwhelmed by everything you’re juggling. So whatever brings you here -big or small-  I won’t judge you.

My aim is simple: that you leave feeling more relaxed and at peace, with a sense of clarity and inner strength that empowers you to tackle whatever you’re facing in your life.

Where we meet

Creating this kind of environment is an enormous privilege for me, so I’ve set up a welcoming space in my private home practice on the Isle of Dogs, available on most days of the week, making it easy to find a time that works for you. Head to the FAQ page for all the details about getting there

Before we begin any session, I like to have a quick chat so I can tailor the experience to what you need most right now. But once we start, you’re completely in control – we can stop, pause, or adjust anything at your pace. Your comfort and sense of safety are my absolute priorities, because that’s where the real healing happens.

“I came with tension in my shoulders, neck, and chest. During the session I felt completely relaxed and could actually feel energy flowing through my body, especially around my chest area – it was very soothing. The whole experience was so relaxing that I fell asleep.”
